The Ritz Theatre presents its third performance of the seasons "This is Your Life" Music Series as we present for your enjoyment on December 11th, Harpeth Rising.
Harpeth Rising chose to name themself after a Tennessee River because water is both dynamic and and powerful. These words also describe the music created by the three talented women: Jordana (violin), Rebecca (banjo), and Maria (cello) will share with you their amazing talents while playing Folk, Newgrass, Rock, and Classical music into a sound that is organically unique. Hallmarks of their music include expansive three part harmonies, consummate musicanship and a deft yet soulfoul lyrical perspective.
Doors will open at 6:30pm with music being performed by other local artists from 7:00-7:45pm, then Harpeth Rising takes the stage at 8pm for your enjoyment.
The Ritz Theatre is proud to bring these three talented Women to the Ritz Theatre stage in an effort to fulfill its mission; to promote music through music education. A portion of the event tickets will be donated to Sandy's Music Girls Scholarship Fund as a way to show our dedicaton to the music education and the cause.
